Many people come to Paganism, Witchcraft, spirituality and the occult because they are searching for something.
Some are looking for peace. Others want to become better people, understand themselves, heal old wounds or discover a greater meaning to life. There is nothing wrong with any of these aims.
But Witchcraft — particularly the path of the Solitary Pagan Witch — does not necessarily promise any of them.
Witchcraft is not a self-improvement programme with a guaranteed outcome. Nor does it have to provide a neat moral system telling us what is good, what is bad and how we should behave.
For the solitary practitioner especially, the Craft can be something much less predictable.
It is about discovering, observing, experimenting and experiencing.
It is about learning to notice what other people might overlook.
And sometimes it means becoming comfortable with the fact that we simply do not have all the answers.
