One of the great freedoms of being a Solitary Pagan Witch is that there does not have to be an organisation standing between you and your Craft.
There may be no High Priest or High Priestess.
There may be no coven.
There may be no initiation ceremony, hierarchy or Book of Shadows handed down to you.
There is simply you, your experiences and whatever relationship you develop with nature, spirit, deity, ancestors, the Otherworld or Magick itself.
Books can certainly help. Traditions can teach us a great deal. Other witches can offer knowledge accumulated over generations.
But eventually the solitary witch has to walk alone.
A book can tell you how somebody else practised Witchcraft. It cannot completely tell you how your Witchcraft will develop.
That has to be discovered.
