Perhaps one of the most important skills a solitary witch can develop is simply awareness.
Magick does not always arrive with thunder, lightning and dramatic supernatural events.
Sometimes it is remarkably quiet.
It may begin with a coincidence.
A dream.
An unexpected thought.
A sudden change in atmosphere.
An animal appearing at an unusual moment.
A feeling that makes you stop walking and look around.
Most of these experiences may have perfectly ordinary explanations. The solitary witch does not have to declare every coincidence a message from the gods or every unusual feeling a supernatural event.
But neither do we necessarily have to dismiss everything.
We can simply notice.
Observe.
Remember.
Question.
That ability to remain aware without immediately forcing an explanation onto an experience can become an important part of solitary Witchcraft.
