Practical Uses for Herbs: Coughs

Coughs In 1.7 litres (3 pints) of boiling water,
place a large quantity of peppermint leaves, 150
ml (5 fl oz) of rum, 85 ml (3 fl oz) of lemon juice,
25 g (1 oz) of cinnamon bark and 25 g (1 oz) of
comfrey root. Blend well, then allow to cool and
strain. Add 225 g (8 oz) of sugar and 50 ml (2 fl
oz) of honey. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil.
Cool and store in an air-tight container
